Aron WIG Craft For Search & Rescue

The Aron M80 Flying Ship combines speed, range, and versatility to excel in critical search and rescue operations. Leveraging advanced Wing-In-Ground (WIG) effect technology, the M80 glides just above the water’s surface, making it uniquely suited for swift, effective response in emergencies. Offered exclusively through THE FINDGROUP, this state-of-the-art vessel is built for wide-area search, rapid first response, and life-saving support.

Key Advantages for Search and Rescue

1. Rapid Deployment and Swift Arrival
With a top speed of 135 knots (250 km/h) and an operational range of 350 nautical miles (650 km), the M80 can reach accident sites quickly—often within the critical “golden hour” timeframe—ensuring fast initiation of rescue operations. Its ability to alight on waves up to 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) allows it to operate effectively in challenging conditions.

2. Wide-Area Search and Enhanced Visibility
The M80’s wide wingspan and low-altitude cruising capability make it perfect for wide-area searches, providing comprehensive visual coverage that accelerates the location of individuals in need. Its Wing-In-Ground effect ensures a smooth, controlled hover just above the water, making it ideal for precision search-and-rescue missions in vast, open water.

3. Life-Saving Capacity for Emergency Situations
Equipped with onboard inflatable devices, the M80 is capable of sustaining up to 50 people until further assistance arrives. The inflatables are designed for rapid deployment, offering immediate flotation support and stabilization in rough waters, keeping survivors safe and afloat during critical rescue wait times.

4. Minimal Infrastructure Requirements
The M80 requires only basic infrastructure to operate, making it ideal for rapid deployment in remote or under-resourced areas. It can be launched from portable pontoons and easily transported by a standard trailer, allowing for quick mobilization in emergencies.

5. Durable, Resilient Construction for Rescue Reliability
Crafted from advanced hybrid composite materials, the M80 is built to withstand demanding marine environments. Its rugged trimaran hull provides exceptional stability and durability, ensuring safe operation in turbulent waters while enhancing the safety and success of rescue missions.
